Save on your existing Insurance Programs
I can help you reduce the price of your insurance, even if I'm not your current agent yet.Â
Reducing your Experience Mod, adding new safety programs, establishing a drug-free workplace, or updating company handbook policies are all ways to get extra savings on your insurance without moving your policies to a different insurance carrier. These can even be done mid-term with some carriers.
For a quick evaluation of what options you can take advantage of, contact me to schedule a 10-minute intro call and we can discuss how to get your premium down now instead of later.
Need to close your business temporarily in order to complete renovations for an expansion or repair damages from a claim? Did a bad storm damage the power lines in your area and shut off power for several days or more? What if you lose product or inventory due to the outage, or lose foot traffic while half your store is blocked by ladders and tarps?
Business Income coverage can help cover the loss of income due to claims to help ensure you can still pay your employees during that downtime - and retaining employees is often cheaper than hiring new ones to train from the ground up! This coverage also allows you to take care of your bills that you still have obligations to pay while closed, along with covering many extra expenses.
There's even coverage for if a bigger store in your parking lot closes temporarily, causing your sales to decrease while the foot traffic in your store is slower than expected.
Protect yourself from temporary closures
Protect your inventory and assets
If your power goes out during a storm and causes you to lose some or all of tour inventory that needs refrigeration, you can use Commercial Spoilage coverage to repay the cost of what you would have sold the spoiled inventory for before it went bad. Any industry that uses cold storage or climate controlled areas to maintain inventory quality can utilize this coverage.
Even non-food products fall under this coverage, such as plants & flowers, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, cigars and select tobacco/CBD products, tropical fish and amphibians (and other little dudes that have temperature preferences), and much more.
Equipment Breakdown coverage is available for non-perishable products or services that rely on specific equipment, such as metal fabrication shops or ice skating rinks. It can also be used for standard HVAC systems.
Do you have an employee handbook? If you do, when's the last time you had it updated? Did you know you can tell your insurance carrier that you have an official employee handbook or safety manual to get a possible discount on your premiums?
We provide free employee handbook updates to all current clients upon request. We also offer safety training materials and safety meeting guidelines if needed, along with an online OSHA document tracking portal so you can remain compliant with OSHA tracking requirements if inspected.
We also have a wide range of HR related products to assist you, including employee cost calculators, an HR self-assessment tool, a performance review builder, salary benchmarking, and job description builders for when you're looking to hire on new staff.
If you are in need of a specific service related to your industry or assistance with business finances, I have a list of dedicated referral partners that I can recommend for anything we don't handle in-house.
